Pickle, Clover and Ginger - NOW RE-HOMED

Hi there please meet Pickle, Clover and Ginger.........

These lovely, friendly little girls are looking for a new forever home as their previous owners unfortunately can no longer keep them.

Pickle........

Pickle is black and white and approx just over a year old and is super confident and not shy at all.

She loves her food and treats and is always the first in the food bowl. Pickle is full of fun and personality, she even likes to climb on top of her hideaway house! 

Pickle loves to chat away to you when you walk near her hutch and loves cuddles and strokes. 

Ginger.......

Ginger is ginger and white and is approx just over a year old.

Ginger is very gentle little pig and a little shy but does like a snuggle with you. She is definitely the baby out of the three.

 Ginger likes following her friends around the garden and likes to graze on the grass.

Clover........

Clover is grey and white and also approx just over a year old.

Clover is a calm, independent piggie who loves cuddles and grazing on the grass. Clover also loves celery, cucumber.

She has slightly longer hair than the others so may need a trim every now and then. 

They have regular 'preventative' mite treatment once a month. They do not have Woodshavings in their hutch as this irritates their eyes.

Pierre - NOW RE-HOMED

Hello there, please meet Pierre........

Pierre came to us as he and the other two males he was housed with began to fight.

When he arrived he had mites and is now having treatment for this and he also had an ulcer in his eye which he is also having treatment for. He is very patient and let's you put medication in his eye with no fuss at all. 

He is very friendly and loves to interact with you and comes when you call his name........

This very sweet natured gentle giant is approx 3 years old.

Pierre loves a stroke and a cuddle and loves to chat away to you.

We are a not for profit Guinea Pig Rescue and rely solely on donations to help all our Guinea pigs have a safe, healthy and comfortable home while we find them their forever home.

Hutch - SOLD

Hi there, we have many different hutches for sale here at our rescue....

We have had a lot of very kind hearted people donate their hutches/cages and runs to us so we can either keep them for our resident piggies or sell to help raise money for our rescue. Money from the sales of the cages/hutches and runs goes towards food, bedding and vet bills. They are second hand so are not in perfect condition.

This hutch we have for sale is a two tier hutch and measure approx 45 3/4" Tall x 45" long x x just over 22" Deep. It has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. 

It is suitable for two Guinea pigs.

It has been nibbled and chewed but is still secure for your little pets.

Poppy and Squeak - Now re-homed

Hi there, please meet Poppy and Squeak........

Poppy and Squeak came to us as their previous owner's could no longer keep them. They have both been well looked after and cared for.

Poppy is the multicoloured piggie and Squeak is the white long haired guinea pig.

Poppy and Squeak are going to be approx 4 years old in August.

Poppy is the most confident out of the two and likes to talk to you at feeding time.

Squeak is a little bit shy but both like their cuddles

These girls get on really well together and I find them regularly snuggled up together.

Squeak will need regular daily brushing which she is used to.

Christmas

Hi everyone, 

I would like to start by wishing you all a lovely Christmas and to say a big heartfelt THANK YOU for all your much needed help and support given to our rescue over the last year. It has been lovely to have had so much help and support.

It's that time of year again when people start asking me for ideas for Christmas pressies for the Guinea Pigs (and the odd rabbit from time to time) we have staying with us. We do not have a list as such but here are a few ideas...

Sweetie and Boo - NOW RE HOMED

Hi there, please meet Sweetie and Boo.....

These girls are approx 4 months old and came to us as their previous owner could no longer look after them. 

Boo is the smooth haired piggie and Sweetie is the pig with sticky up hair.

Sweetie is the most adventurous out of the two and Boo is a little shy.

These girls are a tiny bit nervous but are getting used to plenty of love and cuddles.

Sweetie loves to be stroked and Boo likes her food! They both like taking food from my hands.

Darla and Pickles - NOW RE-HOMED

Hi there, please meet Darla and Pickles.........

Darla is the tan and white piggie and Pickles is the tan and black piggie.

These lovely littles girls are approx 9 weeks old. 

Darla is still a little nervous but is getting used to cuddles. Pickles is very inquisitive and loves to popcorn all over her hutch (even whilst eating!)

They came to us as their previous owner could no longer look after them. When they arrived they had mites, they have now had all their treatement and have been given the all clear to be rehomed.

Newton and Poppy - NOW REHOMED

Hi there, please meet Newton and Poppy.......

Newton is nearly a year old and has been neutered. He came to us a couple of months ago as he and his brother did not get along. 

Poppy is approx 6 months old........

Poppy and Newton have recently been bonded together and it has really bought their personalities out a lot, they are more vocal and interested in everything you are doing now. Poppy loves squeaking at you.

they are very happy together and come up to the front of the hutch to see me now and like taking food from my hands.

Percy and Perry - REHOMED

Hi there, please meet Perry and Percy..........

Perry is the black piggie on the right and Percy is the brown and white piggie on the left.

These two very sweet boys are approx a year old. 

This is Perry.....

They enjoy eating carrots, apples and watermelon and like hiding in tubes.

This is Percy.......

They are becoming a little less nervous and come to see me a lot more especially when they know I have food!  With plenty of love and handling they will become more confident.

Patch and Fluffy -NOW REHOMED

Hi there please meet Patch and Fluffy.......

Patch is the large black, ginger and white guinea pig on the right and Fluffy is the smaller Guinea pig with spikey hair on the left.

Patch came to us as her family could no longer keep her. She is approx 3 years old. 

Patch is a friendly little piggie. She had not been handled much when she arrived so was a bit nervous but is now used to lots of handling and cuddles.

Fluffy is nearly 6 months old and was also a bit nervous as she had not been handled much, she is now also getting used to lots of handling and cuddles.
