Cookie came to us after her owner could no longer look after her due to health reasons . Cookie is approx 10 months old but this has not been confirmed. 

Cookie is a friendly little girl and likes talking to you and having a look at what you are doing.

Bart and Brian - NOW RE-HOMED

Hi there please meet Bart and Brian,

Bart in on the left and has a white nose and Brian is on the right and has a black nose (Brian has now found a new home) They came to us as their owner could no longer keep them.

Bart and Brian are bothers and came with Betsie (also looking for a new home). Bart is nearly 5weeks old. 

Bart is extremely nervous as he has not been held much but with a lot of attention and contact we hope to overcome this.

Betsie - NOW RE-HOMED

This sweet little girl is approx 5 weeks old. She came to us with two brothers 'Bart' and 'Brian' as her owners could no longer keep them.

She is a bit nervous but with regular handling and lots of love she will become more confident.

Bonnie - NOW RE-HOMED

She is a lovely little girl and enjoys her cuddles but is a little nervous as you go to pick her up. She will overcome this with plenty of handling and love. 

We are not quite sure how old she is but believe her to be less than a year old.

Barnaby - NOW RE-HOMED

He came to us after his owners could no longer keep him.

Barney (as he likes to be called), is a friendly little chap and does not mind being picked up for a cuddle. 

We are unsure how old he his but believe him to be less than a year old.

Ruby is approx 6 months old. She came to us as her previous owners could no longer keep her. She is a bit nervous but is gradually getting used to us.

Coco and Daisy- NOW RE-HOMED

Hi there, please meet Coco and Daisy. Coco is chocolate brown, white and a little ginger colour and is approx 1 year old and is mum to Daisy who is white and black and about 6 weeks old (she was born on 21st October).

Coco is a little nervous but with lots of patience and care we are finally getting her to come to the front of her hutch to take food from us. Daisy is a little sweetie but is still very nervous.

Coco and Daisy came to us after their owner could no longer keep them. They will be ready to go to their new home in early January all being well.

Podge and Coco - NOW RE-HOMED

Hi there please meet Podge and Coco,

These lovely girls came to me on 10th November as their previous owner had a allergy to them and unfortunately could no longer keep them.

Podge and Coco are mother and daughter and get on really well together. Podge is very friendly and comes up to the front of the hutch to say hello. Coco is a little nervous but we are trying to overcome this with plenty of attention and hugs!

Podge is grey and white and is apprrox 18 months old and Coco is brown and approx 1year. They are both healthy and will be able to go to a new home early January all being well.

Teddy, Dougal and Eddie- ALL NOW RE-HOMED

These lovely little boys were born in April and are approx 7 months old. They had been living nicely together until Dougal and Eddie started picking on Teddy. Dougal and Eddie have now been rehomed and we are looking for a new home for Teddy.

Their previous owner could no longer look after them and asked us to take them in.

Spud and Christopher - NOW REHOMED

Hi there please meet Spud and Christopher

Spud is approx 8 months old and is the larger of the two at the back of the photo and Christopher is 7 weeks old and is in the front of the photo with the ginger nose.

Christopher and Spud were given up to be re-homed as their previous owner had a couple of unplanned guinea pig pregnancies. 

Christopher and Spud are a tiny bit nervous but are easy to pick up and cuddle. They live together very happily and Christopher follows Spud around everywhere!!

Kat and Meg - NOW RE-HOMED

Hi there, please meet Kat and Meg

Kat is the ginger guinea pig on the left and Meg is the ginger and white guinea pig on the right. Kat is approx a year old and Meg is 1 1/2 years old.




Meg came to us on 24th September. Her previous owner contacted us as they could no longer look after her.

She is a little nervous but likes having a cuddle and a stroke.

Kat was re-homed a little while ago by us but has now been returned as her owner's other guinea pig has been fighting with her. Kat and Meg get on really well and live happily together and can hopefully be re-homed after 6th December.

They can be re-homed together or separately.

Badger - NOW RE-HOMED

Hello there please meet Badger, 

When she came to us from her previous owners she was approx 8 weeks old and suffering from 'Ringworm'. Badger is now approx 12 weeks old and is nearly finished her treatment and is doing really well.

 All being well she should finish her treatment at the end of October and be ready for re-homing from the 4th December. If you can give Badger the safe home she so desperately deserves please contact me x

When these little girls came to us they were approx 12 weeks old and were very nervous. They are now approx 16 weeks old. They were not used to being handled at all but we are trying to gain their trust by giving them lots of cuddles and attention. They will be able to be re-homed around 3rd December all being well.

Dora and Baby - NOW RE-HOMED

Hi, please meet Dora and Baby, 

Dora is the girl on the right with the ginger stripe round her middle and Baby is the girl on the left with mad hair!

Dora and Baby came to me on the 24th September after their owner contacted me to say they could no longer keep them. I have been told that Dora is 1year old and the mother to Baby, and Baby is approx 8months old.

Josie - NOW REHOMED

 Hi there please meet Josie, 

Josie came to us on 21st September along with their brother 'Danny' and sister 'Faith' (who have both now been re-homed). We believe that she is approx 4 1/2 months old but this has not been confirmed. 

On 26th November, Josie gave birth to 4 beautiful babies (1 boy and 3 girls) they are now nearly 4weeks old. When they are 6 weeks old they will be able to leave their mum, this will be on 7th January 2014.

Shadow - NOW RE-HOMED

Hi, please meet Shadow....

Shadow is an un-neutered male and is just over a year old.

We had Shadow here at the Rescue earlier in the year looking for a home with his friend Percy....they found a wonderful, loving home to go to but unfortunately Percy passed away and Shadow has now come back to us to find a new home and friend.

Poppy - NOW RE-HOMED

Poppy and Rosie are sisters but only Poppy is looking for a loving home as unfortunately Rosie became ill a little while ago with a bad back and is still recovering. She has now become a permanent resident and will live out her life here with us. 

They are approximately just over 1 years old.

Poppy was a little nervous when she first arrived with her sister but has overcome this with plenty of handling and love. She came to our rescue as their previous owners unfortunately had to give them up due to family health problems. Poppy lives together with our other girls (and our resident neutered male 'Oscar') and gets on really well with all of them. She is a very quiet, shy girl.

Coffee, Ben and Sid ALL NOW RE-HOMED

Hi there, please meet Coffee (on left), Ben (in the middle) and Sid (on the far right). These little guys came to us as their previous owner could not give them the love and attention they needed. They are said to be approx 11weeks old and un-neutered. These lovely little piggies are soooooo frightened of everything they climb over each other to get away, they were not handled very much by their previous owner. We are trying to gain their confidence with lots of attention. If you think you can give any of them a loving home then please get in touch.

Dotty - NOW RE-HOMED

Dotty came to us on the 11th May. She was in a group of 11 piggies. 

Dotty, is such a sweet, inquisitive little thing and now comes to you if you call her name. Unfortunately we do not know how old she is but have been told that she has had babies.

Panda - NOW RE-HOMED

Hi, please meet Panda.

  Panda is the brother to Biscuit and Worzel but they started picking on him so I had to separate him.

Panda came to us along with his brothers as their owners could no longer look after them. Panda's owner said he was approximately 7-8 months old but our vets tell me he is probably around a year old When he came to us he was the most nervous out of the three. They had not been handled much and were scared of everything... But now with lots of attention he is becoming a bit more friendly. Panda and his brothers also had a very bad case of Mites when they arrived but they have all finished their treatment and been given the all clear by my vets to be re-homed. Biscuit and Worzel - NOW REHOMED

Hi there please meet Biscuit and Worzel,

Biscuit is the cream and white un neutered male and Worzel is the multi coloured un neutered male. I was told that they are both approx 7-8 months old but my vet thinks they may be around a year old.  They are brothers. They are also brother's to 'Panda' who has now been re-homed.

They have been with us for approx 2 months now and were so nervous of everything when they first arrived as they had not been handled very much by their previous owners. They are now coming up to the front of the hutch to take food from my hand and do not mind being picked up.  They also had a very bad case of mites when they arrived which they have both been treated for, and given the all clear by my vets to be re-homed. Mimi and Poppycorn- NOW RE-HOMED

Hi there, please meet Mimi and Poppycorn.

Mimi is the cream and grey female guinea pig and is approx 2 and a half years old.

Poppycorn is the ginger and white female guinea pig and is approx 1 and a half years old.

Mimi and Poppycorn were both really nervous when they came to us in April and wouldn't let us near them and would hide away but now they are always at the front of the hutch calling for their food when they hear us in the kitchen. They need to be homed together as they are best friends.

Cinnamon and Treacle NOW RE-HOMED

Hi there, please meet Cinnamon and Treacle. Cinnamon is the ginger Guinea Pig with the White stripe on her nose at the top left of the picture and Treacle is the multi coloured Guinea Pig with the white nose next to Cinnamon.

Cinnamon and Treacle are sisters and are both curious little piggies. Cinnamon is approx a year old and Treacle is approx 1 and a half years old. They came to our rescue as their owner could no longer keep them. They live together with the other girls who are also looking for a new home here at our rescue and they all get along really well.
