Hutch For Sale -SOLD

Hi there, 

we have this lovely hutch for sale to help raise funds for our Guinea Pig Rescue here in Braintree, Essex. We have lots of kind hearted people donate hutches/runs etc to us so we can either use ourselves for our resident piggies or sell to raise funds to help pay for Food, Bedding and Vet Bills. 

This hutch is in great condition, it does however have some nibble marks on it and a little rust on a little area of the bars but it does not affect the hutch. 

The roof opens and it has hinges on both sides to keep it open.

It can house two Guinea pigs quite comfortably.

This hutch does not leak and has mainly been inside but when it has been outside it has been covered. 

The hutch measures approx 48" Long X 19 1/2 " Deep x 30" Tall (it has black feet that can be twisted to make the hutch taller or shorter.)

This hutch is one of my favourites, it is lovely and solid (and a bit heavy)

This hutch measures 24 1/2 inches tall (just over two feet), 49 inches long (just over 4 feet) and is 28 inches deep.

It is in lovely condition (although a little weather warn at the front), it has been covered since we have had it but I believe it does not leak.

It has a removable front wired door and we have fixed a board at the front (just inside the cage on the right) where the door goes, purely to stop any woodshavings coming out (the guinea pigs have loved chewing this!) this can be removed very simply as it is fixed using magnets.

This hutch is perfect for two small guinea pigs, 

It measures 23 1/2 inches tall (just under two feet), 48 1/2 inches long and 16 inches deep. 

It has a broken hinge on the bottom of the large wire door but open and closes fine. This will need to be replaced though. 

This hutch has been covered since we have had it (until recently) and as far as I know does not leak.

It is in very good solid condition (apart from the hinge that needs replacing)

Tinks, Amy and Peanut - NOW REHOMED

Hi there, please meet Tinks, Amy and Peanut.....

Tinks came to our rescue as her previous owner could not keep her. She was already pregnant, and had two baby girls on Sunday 4th March.

Amy is grey and white and is the smaller of the two babies

Peanut is black and ginger

Tinks is a little bit nervous but should get over this with plenty of handling and lots of love.

Harry and Hermione - RESERVED

Hi there, please meet Harry and Hermione......

Harry is on the left and Hermione is on the right. These lovely Guinea pigs, through no fault of their own were returned to our rescue a while ago after being rehomed and since then have come close a few times to finding their forever home but for various reasons it has fallen through. 

Harry......

Harry is approx 2 years old. He was neutered in June 2016. 

Harry is a very friendly little piggie and is full of character, he likes carrots and veg and likes being groomed and likes a stroke and cuddle. I often find him with his paws on the bowl waiting for his food!

Hermione....

Hermione is approx a year old and is also very friendly and will come up to greet you and take veg from you. She also likes a stroke and cuddles and is also independent. 

Harry and Hermione are used to children, noise and pets. They do need to be rehomed together.

Maisie and Willow - RESERVED

Hi there, please meet Maisie and Willow.......

Maisie is on the left of the photo and Willow is on the right.

Maisie and Willow came to us recently after being abandoned along with other guinea pigs.

They are quite nervous but will hopefully learn to trust us after lots of cuddles and handling. 

These lovely little girls are probably only a few months old. They are in very good health and have no issues. We do however need to keep them here for a little while to make sure they are not pregnant.

Pepper - RESERVED

Hi there, please meet Pepper, 

Pepper is on the right.

Pepper came to us recently after being abandoned along with other guinea pigs. 

She is a little nervous but hopefully with patience and lots of love and cuddles she should learn to trust us. 

Pepper is in very good health but needs to stay with us for a little while to make sure she is not pregnant. I am afraid we have no idea how old she is. 

Considering what she may have been through, Pepper is happy to be stroked and held but does give you a bit of a run around when you try to pick her up (but most piggies do this too)
